If you are approached by Christopher John Underwood or Neli ban of Smooth Branding Limited please call me on 07903 655 169 so I can fill you in on their credit history and trustworthiness.

You can see a review from Nicola Caukill of ETC. Please note that ETC is a wholly owned subsidiary of another company that Christopher John Underwood is a director of so it may not be entirely unbiased. Each time I amend my review somebody is amending Nicola's review. Either she is a raving fan or, possibly someone else who controls her website and domains is using an email address that she doesn't see to keep updating her wonderful review.

It may help you if I tell you that after I put a review up on this site warning people about using them somebody hacked into the site and changed my review to suggest that they were fantastic people and that I recommend them. I will leave it to your own vivid imagination to consider who may have had an interest in doing such a thing.

I have worked with Smooth Branding on several website design and branding projects - both as their client and as a partner. The relationship is symbiotic. We instinctively know what is required to meet the business need and translate that into a visual and written communication which connects with the client's vision. In all dealings Smooth Branding have been nothing but ethical and open, clearly explaining the contractual relationship and requirements of both parties. They have always gone the extra mile to fulfill the project brief.

If anyone is considering using the services of Smooth Branding I would strongly recommend that they dont. Chris Underwood and Neli Ban have deceived both clients and employees and have left both financially struggling. They consistantly took on the services of others with absolutely no intention of paying them. They lied about the success of their company and their expertise in the fields that they advertise.

It would not suprise me if the complimentary reviews on this site were written by them as this is something that they would do. This pair should not be allowed to trade, and I sincerely hope that this is concluded at the end of the investigation.

Neli Ban and Chris Underwood at Smooth Branding were excellent in listening to and realising our website plans for our business, and dealt with us in a very personable way, both through face to face meetings and over email. They immersed themselves in the idea of the site, and came up with ideas and suggestions for the site. They were happy to accommodate changes and additional features as we progressed through the project, and continue to provide a support service now the site has gone live.

Director under investigation
A WELL-KNOWN figure in the Aylesbury business world and chairman of
an organisation that helps young people is under investigation by a
government body.

Chris Underwood, chairman of Aylesbury Vale Young Enterprise, a
Buckinghamshire Ambassador, non-executive director of Aylesbury
Training Group and director of Smooth Branding (formerly Smooth Ltd)
is under investigation from the Insolvency Service.

Bob Sword, an investigator at the Insolvency Service, said: "I am
currently investigating the affairs of Smooth Ltd, and in particular
the conduct of the director, Chris Underwood and the secretary, Neli
Ban, in order to determine whether it would be in the public interest
to bring disqualification proceedings against them."

We were approached by the Directors Christopher Underwood and Neli Ban after their programmer left, were commissioned to finish off some projects that they were stuck on and were letting clients down.

We had over £6,500 worth of invoices due with Smooth when they decided to go into liquidation. When we heard they were going into liquidation, we tried many times to contact Chris & Neli and we were threatened on the telephone by one of their associates after continually trying to contact them, they have not yet to date, tried to pay any of our invoices.

Because of this, we suffered badly and almost went under, the £6,500 remains unpaid.

These people do not care nor do they have a conscience, we helped them out massively and this is the thanks we get.

If Chris & Neli are reading this, we would really like to be paid.

Smooth Branding did a great job on this site - strong, bright images were given
dominance on the website, combined with two shades of slate gray, and the strapline in contrasting purple. There is also a subtle geometrical element in the layout of
all the applications, expressing both the analytical and architectural approach.

I have been in the difficult position of being owed monies for outstanding invoices from Smooth for over a year. Now that Smooth LTD has been declared bankrupt, and I am not going to be receiving any of the money owed to me, I would advise anyone entering into a business relationship with Smooth Branding to procede with extreme caution. This company have behaved very irresposnibly to myself and many others. We are all very disappointed to see that Mr Underwood is allowed to carry on trading as Smooth seeing as he has not settled accounts owed to contractors, staff or clients.
