WWDC:
Describe your company in 5 words.
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”Custom, Creative, Modern, Professional, Innovative”
WWDC:
Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”I see our business expanding, me getting older! I think that in ten years time we will have even more experience than we do now - obviously seeing as we will have more and more clients as we grow! I also think that as technology advances, we will be one of the first design companies to get right in there and start using all of these new devices and pieces of 'tech' and using them in ways to benefit ourselves and our clients!”
WWDC:
How was your company name chosen?
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”I really honestly don't know. You know when you just suddenly think of an idea one day, then randomly think of a name which doesn't mean anything: 'Reddex'? Well - we added that to Creative, as our business is very creative, doing what we do. We also added it to Design, as we constantly design bits and pieces for our customers. And then we added Studios, as we're currently in a studio - where lots of busy people are designing amazing things in one place! That's how we thought of: 'Reddex Creative Design Studios' ”

We have been working really hard with TinyClimb to produce their brand new website! They came to us and said: ‘James – it’s Alex here. I think it’s time to get a site designed by you, to be honest yours are really very good!’. Alex asked us if he could have a basic website with a blog, online shopping cart and other bits and pieces. We then took his design plans and turned them into an advanced site which he told us would be much more beneficial, especially at the same cost - which contains loads of fantastic eye-boggling features!

WWDC:
Describe your office environment.
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”Quiet. Relaxed. Loved. Techy.”
WWDC:
Describe how your team interact and work together.
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”We work extremely hard on communications, not only between Reddex Design and the client but also between us! We discuss your websites and work our socks off to find you new innovative solutions for your website...”
WWDC:
What makes you different from other web design companies?
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”We work and live in the heart of Plymouth in the south-west and we deal with our clients and their websites with real enthusiasm and give that little extra thing to everything to please our customers... From website design to leaflets to logo-design to banner design - we basically do anything else another design company would do and probably a lot more!”
WWDC:
How do you get the majority of your business?
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”Through 'word-of-mouth' - the best way of advertising. And guess what? It's FREE! That way, our customers are a community and can share their experiences with each other and their family and friends. We also use other marketing techniques such as Online Website Advertising and Banners / Leaflets! We also have a mailing service where we update clients about future features and current offers exclusive to them - we hate spam though, and we're sure that you do too, so we try to keep emails to just one every month!”
WWDC:
Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”Firstly, we thank our client for choosing us! Then we get right down to designing a basic plan on paper of what the website would possibly look like. We do a couple of designs to give a bit of choice for our clients... Then we hand over the design to our client (or scan it and send it via email). After that, if they like one of the designs, we can start to design their website. They only start paying any money once the website is fully created and up and running. We charge monthly fees and the client can opt-out at any time giving 30 / 60 days notice, depending on the type of contract. We then check if they are happy with the final designs and the money comes in and we keep on updating the website with brand new features and update the old ones. We also keep on editing the site and we will give you some details of how to edit the site yourself if you wish to do so...”
WWDC:
What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”Giving them friendly, helpful advice throughout the process. I also think that if the client is not happy at any point, the company, should immediately go through a process of thought: 'why doesn't our customer like this...' and 'what has gone wrong throughout the process of design' If a client didn't like something that we did, then we would work our way back to what happened and put it right for our client immediately explaining any other answers to questions our client may still have.”
WWDC:
How do you manage demanding clients?
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”We provide them with exactly what they need. Whether someone from one of the biggest companies in the world comes to us or whether a tiny little business in a far away town asks for some design - we treat them with the absolute top quality service which you probably won't find anytime soon in another company. Nothing is too big or too small for us!”
WWDC:
If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”Have a look below at some tips for deciding which website design company to go with. We hate it when we go onto a site and suddenly get bombarded with requests for a live chat from an agent or a popup saying: 'BRAND NEW OFFER - COME TO US!' basically pleading you to buy something from them!
1. Look for professional service - don't go with a company which just gives you the website design any old way and doesn't properly go through the right procedures.
2. If a website is pleading you to buy something from them and there is suddenly an amazing offer on their site which says something along the lines of: 'ONE DAY ONLY: Buy now!' then there MUST be a catch!
3. Try to look at what features they offer - whether there is any extra cost for these 'extra' features. Other design companies might do them for free... ”
WWDC:
Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”Really quite impossible to tell! Anything could happen... We have just seen the launch of HTML5 (apparently better than Flash!) which has been a whole new revolution to the world of Internet and Computing, but who knows? Anything could come next - and we'll be the ones to tell you in the future, giving you more features and looks for your websites!”
WWDC:
What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”Both PC and Mac”
WWDC:
If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
Reddex Creative Design Studios:
”I could give you a hundred? Well... ONE feature is extremely hard to think of... but... you absolutely HAVE to consider your marketing strategies. If you don't do this, then you won't get many or any visits at all on your website! For example, getting your website onto Search Engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing... That's called SEO - Search Engine Optimisation! We automatically include SEO into all of our website design and hosting packages so that you can be known instantly when your clients search for YOU!”
