Paper Hat: ”Our mission is simple, to provide a cost effective solution, that works hard and produces results, to build a lasting relationship with our clients, and help build our clients business in all ways possible.”

WWDC: Describe your office environment.
Paper Hat: ”Our officed are relaxed and layed back.”

WWDC: What makes you different from other web design companies?
Paper Hat: ”We have a vision, we have the skills and we have the desire to bring a new edge to creative and effective web design and ensure that our work helps your company develop and grow. Our project team aims to ensure that the foundations we build for your E-Presence provide long term capabilities for your business goals.”

WWDC: How do you get the majority of your business?
Paper Hat: ”Word of mouth mainly, networking and repeat business through referals”

WWDC: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
Paper Hat: ”When a project starts we create a written brief which is approved prior to any costs or design work, then a proposal is created based on the work involved, this details all aspects of the project and breaks down the costs into straightforward categories. Once we have a purchase order then the design work begins... with pens and paper and creative minds. We try to look at a project from the end customer's point of view and design a solution which works for them”

WWDC: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
Paper Hat: ”Honesty and being completely Trasparent”

WWDC: How do you manage demanding clients?
Paper Hat: ”We are lucky that we dont have many demanding clients, i feel and think that we do a great job for all our clients which makes for a relaxed and happy client.”

WWDC: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
Paper Hat: ”When you choose a designer, don't use your neighbor or the kid down the street who says, "I know how to make a web page, there's nothing to it." A website is a marketing tool and there is much more to creating an effective website than just getting "something" online. The success of your business depends on presenting the right image to the public. Do it right - hire an experienced designer who understands that your site is a marketing tool for your business. ”

WWDC: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
Paper Hat: ”The web industry has moved so quick in 10 years i would be foolish to make expectations about the next 10 years. 2 years maybe!”

WWDC: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
Paper Hat: ”The whole world now relys on the web from running multi billion organisations to ordering a pint of milk, the Internet is only going to expand and become more integral in all our lives.”

WWDC: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
Paper Hat: ”Both PC and Mac”

WWDC: How was your company name chosen?
Paper Hat: ”When i was branding the company i didnt want something that envolved words that would become old and antiquated. I didnt want to put the company in one box limiting our experience to one avenue, we are a multi talented company with many disciplines”

WWDC: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
Paper Hat: ”Pick a good designer and developer who knows what they are doing, getting a site right for both users and search engine performance can be a dificult task some times.”
