Websites that are regularly maintained with good quality content consistently score well in search engine rankings. With that in mind we provide web content management using industry standard tools such as Umbraco CMS. Umbraco is an Open Source Content Management System based on Microsoft .Net technology.
We have a great deal of experience with installing, hosting and configuring Umbraco and will be happy to support customers while they learn to use the tool.
Orcare has successfully used Umbraco to host orcare.com and The Campaign for Safe Road Design.

Campaign for Safe Road Design

Following our work with the Road Safety Foundation we were approached in Jully 2008 to develop a new site for a partnership of 13 UK road safety stakeholder groups. The Campaign for Safe Road Design needed a site developed quickly on a low budget. Working with the project team we developed a site which leveraged existing web tools such as WriteToThem , YouTube and 10 Downing Street Petitions. This provided a highly interactive and rich user experience on a very low budget.

EuroRAP

Orcare provide a number of services to EuroRAP - the European Road Assessment Programme including website design, content management and hosting. Orcare took over the design and management of EuroRAP.org in 2005 from an existing incumbant firm. Although the site was popular and had won several awards it was difficult to navigate. Following a complete redesign of the site, traffic has increased steadily and regularly sees several thousand users per day. Particularly popular is the road lookup function which enables users to enter local road names and find out the risk associated with travelling along the road.
