Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: All businesses start off small, without the right help from the right providers they will never have the chance to succeed. The cost to succeed should be attainable, and MyDigitalMedia are positioned to help small businesses achieve this.

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Large wall mounted display with wireless keyboard and couch to discuss ideas and demonstrate sites, designs with customers in comfort

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: The team have an excellent working relationship. We understand each other, and our capabilities. We're able to identify who is best placed to complete different portions of the project (such as photography, or design review) which provides the best results for our clients.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: Above all else, honesty. Our clients can testify to this, and their bad experienced with other design companies in the region. We offer experience, high quality at low cost. There are as few as 1 person running MyDigitalMedia to up to 10 contracted professionals. Each working from home, keeping the running costs to practically nothing. Earnings are re-invested into the latest technology, keeping us (and our customers) up to date with the latest trends, and we are passionate about what we do.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Word of mouth. Our customers do not hesitate in recommending us to their friends, partners, and suppliers. They are impressed with the service they got, and when comparing the cost with other providers, they want to make sure everyone else can make use of us.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: Initial client meeting to gather requirements, we put together a proposal, sometimes including a number of options, after agreement on the proposal, we produce a design, our customer reviews the design which can be revised until agreed. The site is then constructed based on the design, and delivered for acceptance. On acceptance the site is make publically available.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Honesty. Our clients have often experienced web design and IT companies who try to 'pull the wool over their eyes'. They've been overcharged, they've been given something that looks appauling, and they've been sold something that is often unachievable (such as I guarantee the #1 position on Google for any keyword you want).

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: By being open and honest. If something can't be delivered in the timescales that are being demanded from the outset of the project, we'll explain this to our clients. We would much rather our clients make an educated decision on where they want to take the work and the project than be pushed into a sale, and this continues throughout the project. Often demanding clients just want to be put in the picture.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Have a chat over a coffee, feel relaxed, comfortable and confident that your designer is honest and can deliver what they are promising. Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: Established in Warrington with offices serving Manchester, Warrington, Liverpool and surrounding areas, offering a high volume of services through a close alliance of recognised and approved partners ensuring customers continue to receive high value for money.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: It's currently a very cluttered industry with a lot of cowboys calling them web designers, but not actually having the skills to produce real websites. Unfortunately, these guys are going to be around for a long time, but I hope that businesses will demand more... richer content, and more interaction.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: It was originally an idea for a digital media sharing/locker website, that kept getting put on the back burner, then 6 months later, Box.net came out offering the same functionality, and there was no need for an alternative.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Make it relevant and keep it up to date.
