Please please please read the small print in the contract if you are going to use this company. They never encouraged me to read it at all as the signing of the contract was done in their office, and this has been my downfall. The website they have built is simple, with no meta data and no analytics, people from the website industry say I have been well over-charged. When I finally decided to leave they pulled out the small print which states I have to give 6 months notice to cancel the web-hosting which is £180+vat for a year!! Also I have to pay at least £500 to remove their logo!!! This company once they got my money basically ignored all of my requests for changes until I hassled them, and I feel took advantage of the fact that I was inexperienced in business. An extremely negative experience doing business with Moirae that I would not wish on anyone else.

Moirae Ltd comments:
As a business owner I would always encourage people to read the terms of any contract they sign up to. Our terms are no different to that of any other web design/hosting / mobile phone / car insurance / advertising contract. When users sign up for hosting they commit to a 6 month rolling contract, and therefore we require written notice to cancel. At the end of this 6 month period it would then be cancelled as requested.
In regards to meta data, this is one of the basics of SEO and we would have been happy to have added content supplied by the client, and even offered to arrange meetings for the client with an SEO consultant. The clients response (in this case) to the services offered were deemed too expensive and not needed.
Google Analytics are also added to every website we create FREE of charge so this statement is incorrect.
Finally, on every website we build, we insert a small icon from our company logo in the footer creating a two way link between our website portfolio (where the clients website is showcased) and the clients website. This is done to aid both parties and we have never had a complaint about it until now.
Its not often you come across a design company that can talk your language, do a brilliant design job and understand commercially what you are trying to achieve. Moirae did just that. The team led by David Plant and Ian Gerdes are enthusiastic, have flair, provided fast, effective solutions when issues arose and nothing was too much trouble....I'm known as being very fussy and they excelled with a smile on their face. All projects have problems of course but its how you handle them that counts.
Am I happy? They are now in the throws of a THIRD website for me , so yes, wouldnt go anywhere else (if they will put up with me of course!).
The problem in trying to choose who to 'do your website' is that there are so many people who pupport to be the best...but how do you really know? Try them....I could have gone somewhere else that was cheaper but believe me - you wont be disappointed.
Oh....almost forgot....the enquiry level is beyond expectations !
