A: Earn respect of others and word of mouth will do the rest

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: The Webigi office is vibrant and full of ideas. We are not a graphic design house, our skills are within the geeky, development arena.

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: Ideas go backwards and forwards. We have many discussions, not just about work but about business and politics and what was on TV. We are all influenced by different mediums so we have a happy balance.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: Our knowledge of web and understanding of each clients business. Webigi has the skill to build anything a client requires. We never buy in open source, we believe it never quite does what companies need it to do. We have development skills far exceeding any of our graphic design competitors... They usually source difficult stuff from us ;)

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Word of mouth, referal links and google.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: We have an initial meeting to iron out a spec, asking pertinant questions about the business and then go away and get some designs out. Then build the site from scratch, design a databse. when we have finished we ask the client to test for a week, then on completion we get the client in for CMS training. Then away they go!

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Understanding their business as well as keeping the client abreast of where we are up to in regards to the site. Regualar communication, not so much meetings, but phone calls to apraise on what we have done so far. Then regular peeks at the site to reasure that we are working hard.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: Honesty. We have our proceedures and we reiterate them on a regular basis if a client oversteps the mark! We also understand it can be stressful having a website made, when you're not in full control, but we do all of the above and it usually works well.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: They need to look at past work. They need to look at price (expensive is not always giving you the best service) they need to read contracts very carefully to see what service they are getting for their money. They need to make sure the agency is not just subing out work and wacking on a huge amount for themselves (you may be able to get the same service cheaper). They need to feel safe in the developers hands, know that they understand what it is your business does and is able to create a site that reflects the business and the direction its going. Lastly they need to have a very very good back end system to run your website, if it's clunky or can't quite do what you want - keep looking until you find an agency that suits your needs.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: Leading the region in web design and development. Researching and developing new forms of technology for use on the web. Pushing the boundries of websites and how the internet is viewed and used by the corporate world.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: Massively more interactive. Moble devises are making us design web pages much more simple and functional and not so flashy (as it doesnt work on an Apple), big buttons, clean concise messages.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: We worked on the SEO premis, that if it has more than 7000 results in google its not the right name. So we searched for a relivant name Web-Digi and came up with Webigi ... less than 7000 results!

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: NO FLASH ... Functional, interactive and clean!
