WWDC:
Describe your office environment.
Logo Design & Marketing:
”Our studios are situated in a detatched barn conversion standing in its own grounds beside a castle. 100 years ago there was a steam powered generator here to make electricity for the castle. Lawrence of Arabia created an Italianate garden just across the drive from us. There are usually at least three dogs along with our twenty staff. We have barbeques and cricket in the garden in the summer. It takes me half an hour to walk to work through parkland, past a listed cricket pavilion and the hunt kennels.”
WWDC:
Describe how your team interact and work together.
Logo Design & Marketing:
”We have five account managers, five designers and seven developers. We work together in flexible teams according to the type of work being undertaken. We have a lot of team discussions so that everyone is involved in all aspects of the job as it evolves and takes shape. We draw up site maps followed by wire frames and static visuals before any programming takkes place. We always work to a fixed price agreed with the client and we share gantt and milestone charts. We often use NetMeeting and conference calls to keep everyone up to speed and in the picture. ”
WWDC:
What makes you different from other web design companies?
Logo Design & Marketing:
”Our house style is very clean and airy. We don't believe in any unnecessary clutter or ornamentation. We build sites that function well using intuitive design and carefully thought through ergonomics. Add to this a sprinkle of creative magic and it's roll 'n roll!”
