Q: What's your name and position in the company?
A: Richard Stephens, Business Development Manager
Q: Describe your company in 5 words.
A: Creative, Professional, Engaging, World Class, Reputable
Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: Lemonn Web Media believes your web site is important, whether designing, promoting or redesigning your web site or eCommerce store. As a successful results-driven company with a proactive positive response to our growing customer base, we embrace and work with customers on every aspect of their project until they are fully satisfied with it. We always go out of our way to deliver world class web results and service to customers, 7 days a week. We promise to take care of you and our word is always our unbreakable bond.
Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Our offices are well situated, very quiet and relaxed. Tidy, well kept and professional, we are ready to meet and manage the needs and expectations of our customers.
Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: We as a team interact very well. We collaborate, share knowledge and encourage new ideas and ideologies. If someone wants to suggest something, we accept ideas on the back of a napkin or coaster as well as in the form of a traditional email or memo.
Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: Lemonn Web Media are fresh and exciting, truly passionate about every client and their business, not just passionate about the money. We have a full on business relationship with our clients and work to support them for the long haul, not just sell them a website and move on. Our word is our bond and this is what clients love about us so much - we walk the walk as well as talking the talk!
Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: We utilise direct referrals from positive recommendations of our clients who have been more than highly impressed with our work, but we are always exploring new and engaging communication methods via the internet.
Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: Order received & assessed, price agreed with 50% deposit, project completion & client approval, remaining 50% paid.
Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: It's all about listening and understanding the needs of the customer, as well as putting them at the heart and soul of what we do, ensuring that we remain fair and open, and transparent to all our customers. Our word is our bond and we do not break our promises and commitment to customers at any time.
Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: Demanding customers are usually working to a tight SLA or budget themselves and we appreciate their circumstances. We do offer an enhanced production procedure for these clients but additional charges may apply and as long as they accept these, we are happy to work to their timescales.
Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Think carefully about what is the right choice of service or solution for your business, as opposed to so many '30 day free trial!' or similar promotional offers which a lot of companies use to inherit lateral revenues. Your business will look after you if you care for it in the right way, and the only way to do that is to invest in what you really and wholeheartedly need to grow your business and reputation, not to make a web design company smile.
Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: In ten years time, Lemonn Web Media will be a major aggregator of outsourced work, operating contact centres across the UK and fulfilling the needs of businesses around the world as we work hard to be the next Google of web media and content managed services.
Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: Radically improved thanks to Ajax and other evolving web technologies. More and more high street businesses are closing down due to the economic slowdown and the fact that more people are choosing to save money and shop online... so let's embrace the future and give customers what they want.
Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: PC
Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: How was the name chosen for Orange telecommunications? A board executive was on holiday in Spain and saw lots of oranges being grown. How did we pick our name? I wanted a juicy, refreshing brand identifier that our audience would see as revitalising - Lemonn it was!
Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Always view your website source code and check that all your meta information is correct and up to date, get rid of any dead links, embed the code from Google Analytics as well as creating really handy things called 'backlinks'... google that term and you can thank us for the free advice later! ;-)
