Some time ago we asked for a blog to be designed for us as cheaply as possible and we needed it urgently. We discussed what we wanted and although we wanted something quick, just a place where we could update information, they were very helpful and put us online with a blog very quickly and cheaply. Not bad for a 2 day turnaround!

This way we keep our clients loyal, because they do not just have a website with us, they are a call or email away from tips and honest answers about things they may be told. How do you manage demanding clients?

”Meet and exceed expectations. A demanding client is a challenge and that is what we need to improve our services. People call them demanding but I do not see it like that. I want to know what people really want, and so called "demanding clients" give you that information for free.”

If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?

”Have a look at their previous work, see what they have done. Work out your budget and what you want. Are you wanting a website and pay hardly anything for? If so, the job you will get in return is probably going to be counter-productive to your business. Have a chat and ask them about what ongoing services they offer, the free after care, the search engine optimization. If they start trying to blind you with science I would get a second opinion.
Do not settle for a company with a rubbish website, they will have designed it, they will be designing your website. Have a chat with some of their clients, their email address or contact details should be clear to see on all business websites they have done. If not, they are not doing their job properly as a web designer.”
