The ‘Find it in Sandwell’ website is believed to be the first local business trading website of its kind in the UK.
An initiative by Sandwell Council, along with their partners at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, the website was set up with the aim of boosting the estimated 10,000 businesses in the Borough of Sandwell.
Developed by us here at IceBlue, the website’s aim is to link buyers’ requirements with potential local suppliers. Companies can find and post details of business opportunities in the area, as well as taking advantage of the free recruitment services, support and advice.
The result is an exciting, free online resource, which saw over £20 million-worth of business opportunities posted within the first 48 hours of being launched.
