Luxner News Inc. was founded in 1995 by veteran journalist and photographer Larry Luxner and maintains a file of over 10,000 color images from 72 countries focused on Latin America and the Caribbean, with an extensive and growing collection of images from the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
US agency BrowserMedia commissioned Iain Claridge Studio to provide concepts and branding for a new online photo-library to display Luxner's comprehensive catalogue of images and articles.
The site received a "Standard of Excellence WebAward" in the Web Marketing Association's 2005 WebAward Competition.
The competition is held annually in the US by the Web Marketing Association, which was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for online marketing and corporate web development.
