I would highly recommend Handcoded. I have worked with Richard Jordan for a number of years on several different projects and wouldn't dream of taking my business anywhere else. He is not only a very competent and efficient web designer he has a very good understanding of online commerce, always up to date with the latest available products and services, whether that be payment gateways, online marketing, oscommerce solutions and more. In fact I have found his advice indispensable. He explains everything very clearly, so that even a complete novice or technophobe could understand. Whenever there have been any complications he has resolved with them surprisingly quickly.

I can fully recommend Richard as a website designer. He is very approachable and genuinely wants to help you and your business. I was probably not the easiest customer, as I am a bit of a perfectionist and had a clear vision of what I wanted to achieve with my website, which meant that Richard ended up spending more time on my site than he was planning! However, nothing was too much trouble for him, and he constantly kept me informed throughout the process, and I have ended up with a website I am delighted with. However, it doesn't end there, as Richard is always available to give support when required.

I have used richard a few times now and have always found him to be very quick to respond to my question by e mail , a few times i'm had problems on my site that he has sorted out, i find he is generally quick to find any issues and his charges are very fair , i have no problem giving his details on to anyone else or to anyone reading this . i will def use him again .

I have to honestly say that i would highly recommend Richard for any Web Design needs or e-commerce problems. Richard Jordan was nothing short of brilliant! I had recently had a really bad experience with a U.S. developer who had cost me £1800.

Richard was everything I'd expect from a good consultant and more. He was direct and friendly to talk to, he was very clear in his approach, and he just got on and did the work. He frequently came up with ideas and solutions that were absolutely fantastic, and he seemed to do everything effortlessly and to an extremely high standard.

Richard did everything when he said he would, He completed the work ahead of schedule and for about a quarter of the price I paid the previous people.

I now have a site that looks absolutely fabulous, that is simple and easy to navigate, and I owe a great deal to the work that Richard has done.

I cannot recommend Richard Jordan highly enough - he really is quite outstanding.

Richard and I communicate frequently. The relationship is now more than "Designer customer" he is more like a friend. Which is great to be able to bounce ideas to and fro. Richard allways listens then decides and if he thinks somrthing could be done better he will mention this. Especially when it comes to saving money, Rich is the expert.
Although a very technical subject, Richard speaks everyday language, which is great for a non techy like me.
"Happy with the end product" I'm absolutely delighted. I did not think in my wildest dreams a web site would be so good. All new dollshouse websites will have a big mountain to climb to get something comparable. Richard has done a few neat image tricks which I wanted but he did not say he would do it. Imagine our surprise when he rolled out the website, stunning.
In all Richard is professional, friendly and above all he does not use techy jargon, he uses everyday language. If it can be done he will tell you if it cannot be done he will tell you as well.
Richards approach to his business is just plain old fashioned honesty. Which in this day and age is something to be cherished. Thanks Richard.

Had excellent contact with the web designer. Felt that any questions/problems that we had were dealt with efficently and effectively. All requests we had were taken into account and acted upon. Was kept informed of progress and were asked what we wanted and then it was implemented. Extremely happy with end result - it looks really good and is very easy to administrate. Back up is excellent if we want something changing or need help on something that we are not sure what to do. Even came out on a Sunday to go through things so that when website went 'live' on the Monday we knew what we were doing. All in all an excellent company to deal with.

Richard Jordan, the proprietor of Handcoded has been involved with our website since its instigation in 2003 since when, with his guidance, we have attained an average of 1500 hits per day.

We have had a one to one relationship being that he is always available for questions, ideas and any modifications which are required.

These modifications are attended to promptly and any costs are discussed and agreed prior to the work being undertaken. That work is always completed quickly, very often the same day and we are always informed when the work is complete so that we can view and test.

The end product is easy to maintain and update and would be ideal for both the beginner and the experienced website owner.

The service was first rate, as computer novices the daunting task of creating a web page ect, was taken out of our hands and within no time at all we were up and running. The web designer communicated with our company regularly and took all our requests into account. Advice was given and all technical elements were explained fully. We felt part of the process throughout. We took the web desingers advice as the service given was second to none. We have dealt with Handcoded for several years and always found them to be there at the end of the phone or email,even at very out of hours times.Everything we have requested has been done speedily and effectivally and at very resonable cost.We very much feel they work with you rather than for you and have become a very important part of our online business and we know we would not be trading at the levels we are without there input.What I really like is they will tell you if they feel you are heading in the wrong direction rather than just taking your money and doing the job.We have a web site that is turning over high volumes and we have to put that down to the knowledge of the staff at handcoded.I cannot express enougn how highly I would recommend their services if you are looking for a sales based website or an information site.Over the years when we have come up against any complications they have always come up with the answers and implemented them quickly and effectively.
