The Sea Kingdom - Visit Scottish Heartlands is a part of Visit Scotland. The web site promotes the fascinating Scottish island's of Tiree, Colonsay, Coll, Jura, Oronsay, Lismore and others. One of the main attractions for visitors to the Island's is the array of plants, birds and animals, many of which are rarely found outside these islands. Over 100 species of birds breed on Islay alone. Tiny Colonsay is home to more than 500 species of plants, including rare and spectacular orchids.
