Reviews
Steven has provided an excellent service to Greenview.
The initial project scoping process was very useful to us, allowing us to highlight our requirements in the new website.
From those initial requirements, Steven took us through a series of potential designs which evolved in 3 phases. With the addition of our excellent Expression Engine Content Management System, we have a website that engages with the public in a friendly way whilst also allowing church members to get involved with the site as contributors by way of blog posts, podcasts, online sermons et al.
We are more than happy with the outcome of the website and it has been received well by both church members and visitors alike.
G1Media have provided an excellent and professional service to us at Berea Bible College. After a detailed survey of our needs and aspirations for the website in terms accessible to the layman we were offered some template options for review and correction. They have dealt with our request and kept us informed of progress while taking necessary steps under their own initiative to keep the process moving towards completion. The end result is a pleasing website which in not over-complicated, is easily accessible and informationally rich. We were please with the heading banner which provides a slideshow of seveal aspects of our work at BBC Moshi; this was a special bonus for us as we had not anticipated such a 'cool' frontpage. We are pleased to offer this review and expect to continue working with G1 Media. We wish them all the best.
Digital Evangelist comments:
It's been great to work with BBC on this project and great to have a client who has a clear understanding of how they wish their website to look, function and how they'll measure the success of the site.
I've got some training to do taking BBC through the Expression Engine control panel that will allow them to add, edit and remove core information on the site.
It also goes to show that with a strong client/supplier relationship, distance need not be an issue, whether it's Glasgow to Tanzania or Glasgow to Canada.
When we contacted Steven with a list of our needs and desires he was able to provide us with a number of different options available, clearly explaining the pros and cons of each option. He has responded quickly and efficiently to all of our questions or concerns. We would highly recommend G1Media's services and find their work and customer service exemplary.
The designer was very thorough. He communicate very well throughout all the stages of the project and gave us some very interesting and relevant input from a web point of view.
He very much took our requests into consideration, but advised what he thought would work well and what wouldn't.
We were kept informed the whole way, even though we were a bit slow in replying sometimes, and our conversations were not heavily "jargonised". We were very happy with the final site and we even have the capability of change our site content without involving the designer at all :o). There weren't any great complications to speak of, but if what happened in the project was anything to go by, I am sure Steven would have dealt with it admirably.
Digital Evangelist comments:
The Bullet project was very enjoyable to work on. Both George and Lincoln had a clear idea of what they wanted to achieve with their website.
The most satisfying part of the project for me was the bug tracker. It really allowed me to see just what Expression Engine was capable of with some small alterations.
