Interview

WWDC: Describe your company in 5 words.
Devonto Ltd: Prompt, professional and friendly.

WWDC: How was your company name chosen?
Devonto Ltd: By a long and hard process! I chose Devonto as it is not a word and can not be found on the internet (intentionally!) - it is simply a brand which is unique... think "Tesco", "Asda", "Argos"... Their company names mean nothing!

Overall good service and we were pleased with the end product. However a recommendation for the future would be to provide a little more support and communication during the set up process as not everyone has a great deal of knowledge in this field of work.

Excellent, professional set up within the agreed deadline. The site was designed exactly to my requirements and exceeded my expectations with additional ideas on the layout. Aztech were friendly and helpful and were able to provide me with good advice and ideas.

Devonto provided Clyde FC with a brand new website that was on time and on budget.

Throughout the process of redesigning and building the website, the level of communication and speed of response to queries were both excellent.

Devonto were happy to build the website's features to the specific requirements of Clyde, but also offered welcome suggestions along the way. The finished product was a marked improvement on the previous website.

I would happily recommend Chris and his team, particularly if good customer service is desired.

I can thoroughly recomend the services of Christopher Mc Bride, web designer for Devonto Web Design. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris. We had a very tight schedule to have our web site (Cape Metal Pressings) up and running for potential customers in the USA. I gave Chris a profile the comany and some photos on a Friday night and by Saturday night our site was live and very impressive. Our potential clients in the USA have already asked us to quote on a big contract and part of their confidence in us is our professional web site.
Definatley value for money.

I met with Chris to explain what we needed and we had a good initial discussion on where we wanted to go with the site. He produced several options for our consideration and once we decided on our approach he delivered on all accounts. We are delighted with the final version and more so the database he has used behind the site so that members are automatically emailed with news and current events.
The site delivers everything we asked for and more. Aztech pc were tremendous throughout and we would have no hesitation recommending them to any other organisation looking for that bit of personal service alongside fantastic results.

The whole package has been an absolute revelation, and I cannot recommend this service highly enough. At first I did not know much about the kind of service offered but it has revolutionised the methods in which we conduct our business. The work is always done to a respectable standard, and the personal touches were commendable. Fast, efficient, and quality - could not have asked for more.

WWDC: What's your name and position in the company?
Devonto Ltd: Chris McBride, Director

WWDC: Describe your company in 5 words.
Devonto Ltd: Prompt, professional and friendly.

WWDC: What's your business philosophy?
Devonto Ltd: I believe that in the web design industry, working quickly and efficiently is key - as such, we have gone one step further than a "clean desk policy" - we aim to have a "empty to-do list policy"! That is, don't let work over-flow onto subsequent days - meaning new customers can have their projects started immediately and existing customers can have updates and new developments just as quick!

WWDC: How do you get the majority of your business?
Devonto Ltd: Most of our work comes from customer referrals - we have the tiniest advertising budget (less than £12 per month!) as, to us, it's a waste! We like working with referrals as they are much more than a company found by a web search. New customers have an immediate connection with Devonto and that helps us both get on to a great start.

WWDC: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
Devonto Ltd: Following an initial (optional!) meeting, we work on designing your site - from there to mock layout, web structure and then onto completion!

WWDC: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
Devonto Ltd: Being available to our clients - whenever they need us! By email, phone, Twitter and even text! We are always available - even out of business hours!

WWDC: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
Devonto Ltd: PC

WWDC: How was your company name chosen?
Devonto Ltd: By a long and hard process! I chose Devonto as it is not a word and can not be found on the internet (intentionally!) - it is simply a brand which is unique... think "Tesco", "Asda", "Argos"... Their company names mean nothing!

WWDC: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
Devonto Ltd: Forget about all of the companies who can promise you "first place in Google" - concentrate on finding a good web developer who follows accessibility guidelines then write your content with both people and search engines in mind. It's a tricky job, but incorporating search phrases into your text always provides the best natural search engine rankings!
