The Chimera Studios CMS system uses CKEditor as the content editor. This allows the user to edit the images and text in their website as though they were editing something in Microsoft Word, it really is that easy. The editor also has a Source button allowing you to edit the HTML directly, great if you want to insert something like a YouTube video or are experienced with HTML.

I trawled through web design companies with pushy sales agents trying to sell me websites with toolkits, hosting ect for vast amounts of money. After discussing website options with Chimera it was a refreshing change for an designer to tell me exactly what I needed and the most cost effective way to build a site. My designer Toby has been available for me to contact from start to finish and is still now helping me out with any queries I have.
My site was exactly what I was looking for and would have cost me at least £100-£200 more if I had bought a package from another company.
I would definately recommend Chimera to anyone wanting a top quality site, UK support from your designer each day even into the evening.
On the Chimera website websites are advertised 'from as little as £49'. In the days of blogs and Xsite Pro plus the free sites offered by Google you might be forgiven for thinking that the £49 could be saved by just doing the site yourself.
This of course assumes you have the ability, the patience, the interest and the time.
Chimera promise your site will be ready within 24 hours - and they are true to their word.
What's more you may seem to only get one page but with links elsewhere, downloadable documents and a vast range of templates to choose from, you can actually have a functioning website for a very low price.
Apart from the template itself, what I liked most about Chimera is how they were ready to make changes (at no extra charge) host the site (short term) - and work in the evening and week-ends. Not that many web designers will send you emails at 10 o'clock at night.
Is the website 'fantastic and extensive'?
No - but for £49 this represents excellent value for money. The web designer did everything asked of him, in the time advertised.
I therefore heartily recommend Toby Gunston (info@chimera-studios.co.uk) of Chimera Studios.
The Chimera Studios team is just great! They created a fantastic website for me, within a short space of time and within budget. They fully understood and followed the brief without fault. They have continued to assist me with any new uploads on the website. I highly recommend Chimera Studios to anyone who is looking for a well designed website at a very reasonable cost.
I asked for a quote and request at very short notice, they met the timescale and actually delivered in a quicker time than expected.
