Working with Cheap Skate Design on the development of the site was very professional and reasurring. Regular meetings were held and ideas discussed so that it was clear and easy to understand how the site would work. I felt part of the design process and all of active soccer's thoughts were considered by the design team.

Any complications were dealt with and resolved immeadiately and the general responsiveness to any call or e-mail was always within the same day.

I would recommend this service to any business looking to develop or create a 'new' site. The success of this website has generated sales for active soccer and become an interesting news room for existing customers. Cheap Skate Design work with you and your budget.

Active Soccer will be getting another website created and future developments on the current one with the team

WWDC: What's your name and position in the company?
CheapSkate Design: I'm Warren Keith and I own CheapSkate Design.

WWDC: Describe your company in 5 words.
CheapSkate Design: Affordable, attentive, quick, lean, friendly

WWDC: How do you get the majority of your business?
CheapSkate Design: The vast majority of my work comes from word-of-mouth, I've found that all my clients are very happy with the way I've handled their projects and are more than happy to pass my details on.

WWDC: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
CheapSkate Design: Open and honest communication and a good response time. The client should always feel that they're important to the project and their input should always be taken with serious consideration.

WWDC: How do you manage demanding clients?
CheapSkate Design: The best clients are the most demanding - the pressure pulls you out of your comfort zone and forces you to find a way around a problem or design issue.

WWDC: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
CheapSkate Design: I'd be wary of any company that kept their 'secrets' regarding the technologies and techniques that they use. While it's good practice not to baffle your clients with technical jargon, being open and honest about what the client is getting for their money will provide valuable education to an increasingly tech-savvy population.

WWDC: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
CheapSkate Design: Teams of web-related staff will get larger as the commonly compounded disciplines further diversify. There is currently an expectation from some clients that their web designer should be their copywriter, photographer, email technician and PC repairer!

WWDC: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
CheapSkate Design: Mac
