Reviews
I set out with an idea for the creation of my website. However when talking to Ben we managed to come up with a much better design, using Ben's great design knowledge and expertise, for a website which works better in the market it is designed for. The level of service, expertise and value for money is much better than many other web design companies out there. Nothing has been too much trouble and any changes I wanted were changed very quickly. I felt very much part of the process all the way through, and he worked with me to create the website I wanted. I can 100% recommend him and his services to anyone out there looking for a top quality, and very good value website.
I don't change my web often but all requests for updates are dealt with very promptly. No problems. I have found this to be a hassle free service which is important for me. I have had feed back from enquiries that my web is easy to navigate and gives all information in an easy format.
Ben Sutcliffe comments:
We update the PilatesPlus web site on an annual contract. This offers very affordable editing where your web site was not created with editing software built in, or your web site is highly graphics intensive and you wish to maintain the high level of design. As well as editing the site, we've redesigned some sections to make navigation easier and to make the web site look clearer as well as improving the corporate branding.

WWDC:
What's your business philosophy?
Ben Sutcliffe:
”A website is about really powerful code, matched with a clever and intelligent user interface that allows any user - technophobe or net-native - to access, use and understand every feature of the site.”
WWDC:
What makes you different from other web design companies?
Ben Sutcliffe:
”I work on one or two web sites at a time and for several months. Rather than churning out low quality simple sites all based on one template, my focus is on creating sites that meet the needs of both the client and the user. There should never be any part of a site that doesn't work, is tricky to use or to difficult for the average guy to understand; but sites should be powerful enough to use the most innovative features.”
WWDC:
How do you get the majority of your business?
Ben Sutcliffe:
”Word of mouth from one client to someone looking for improvements to their web site.”
WWDC:
If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
Ben Sutcliffe:
”Consider your type of business, and look at the web sites of the web designers. If the companies' style and philosophy suits your business then you've found the one for you!”
WWDC:
If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
Ben Sutcliffe:
”Make sure that your website truly reflects your business in its design. Even if it's very simple in what it does, ensure that it looks and feels right.”
Ben Sutcliffe, Zinc Studios, Webngoo, Clare Richardson Design
