Best Served Cold: ”To create simple, clean and easy to use websites that work for our clients. We think that if we produce the best work we can we will get more work and more clients.”

Best Served Cold: ”Messy! But it works for me.”

WWDC: Describe how your team interact and work together.
Best Served Cold: ”Every website has two lead developers - a designer and a coder. They each concentrate on their strengths to build the website as a team.”

WWDC: What makes you different from other web design companies?
Best Served Cold: ”We make sure our clients feel comfortable with our work process and understand how their website will work. All our clients have direct access to the designer and developer who is building their site.”

WWDC: How do you get the majority of your business?
Best Served Cold: ”Mostly word of mouth.”

WWDC: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
Best Served Cold: ”We work closely with the client through all stages of the build.”

WWDC: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
Best Served Cold: ”Always being available to talk through the project and helping the client understand what a good website can mean to their business.”

WWDC: How do you manage demanding clients?
Best Served Cold: ”We manage all our clients in the same way - with a high level of professionalism and good humour.”

WWDC: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
Best Served Cold: ”I would suggest they look at the previous work of each design company and then decide whether they would enjoy working with them on a close professional level. They would also need to look at the results of each website and maybe find out whether they are still in contact with previous clients.”

WWDC: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
Best Served Cold: ”Still small but with a large catalogue of satisfied cients and a list of high quality web projects.”

WWDC: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
Best Served Cold: ”Over the next few years it's going to get more professional as "bedroom" web designers get forced out of the market due to the higher levels of complexity needed to build quality websites and more companies become knowledgeable about web design and web marketing.”

WWDC: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
Best Served Cold: ”Both PC and Mac”

WWDC: How was your company name chosen?
Best Served Cold: ”After a night out at a local pub - and it just stuck straight away. It's memorable and all our clients love our logo and business cards.”

WWDC: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
Best Served Cold: ”Write high quality content, it's still the best way to get visitors.”
