Company recommended by reviewer

Artistsweb are fantastic, they produced a professional website that can compete and better any of our competitors. They came up with a website that is user friendly and attractive. We have also had a lot of good feedback from customers. Artistsweb suggested a lot of fantastic ideas that would help take us to the next level. When a problem or hurdle accured this was worked on constantly until a solution was found. Being able to get in touch with Artistsweb was also a bonus and they always kept us informed on any progress or changes. The friendly help and advice was part of the price. Artistsweb still provide us with backup support and help where needed. We found that this company performed even better on the admin control panel, this is where we are able to change content, prices, text, view customer orders, view stats and manage our online business. I would definitely recommend Artistsweb to any up and coming business or large e-commerce business. You won't be disappointed!!

WWDC: What's your name and position in the company?
Artistsweb: Artistsweb

WWDC: Describe your company in 5 words.
Artistsweb: Modern, Intelligent, Creative, Knowledgeable, Experienced

WWDC: What's your business philosophy?
Artistsweb: Good web design has as much to do with how a website functions as how it looks. We believe sometimes, less is more...good web design is not about what you just put into it, it's about what you leave out.

WWDC: Describe your office environment.
Artistsweb: Nice and airy, good clean environment...modern and contemporary, room to breathe and explore different ideas.

WWDC: Describe how your team interact and work together.
Artistsweb: Friendly, fun, hygienic, creative with the attitude "anything is possible" - brilliant minds, passionate individuals, great web designers, fantastic graphic artists, experienced programmers.

WWDC: What makes you different from other web design companies?
Artistsweb: We have been in the web industry since 1998 and have seen how the internet has changed from static text pages, right through to what it is now...so the depth of knowledge and experience gained is priceless. We can then relay our expertise to our new and existing clients. This is what makes is unique - "knowledge" is unmeasurable...yet the most powerful tool any business can have.

WWDC: How do you get the majority of your business?
Artistsweb: A lot of our business comes from previous clients recommendations - but we also receive a lot of traffic from google, as we have optimised our website to be on the first page for several top key search phrases.

WWDC: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
Artistsweb: Stage 1 Once we get a green signal to proceed on your project, our design team collaborate with you to extract all the details related to the design. This ensures that the project is initiated with a common understanding of the objectives of your website. Stage 2 After all the requirements have been gathered by our design team, they get to their drawing boards in creating the very first draft of the design. This draft is submitted to the client for a first look at the future of their website. Stage 3 Once feedback is received from the client, every revision ensures that the subsequent design draft is better than the earlier versions. After successive revisions, the draft starts to take shape and the final website looks set to be published. Stage 4 All the graphics have been incorporated into the final approved version, the site with all its features is reviewed by the client online. The final version of the website is then uploaded to the server and made officially live.

WWDC: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
Artistsweb: We believe the best way to judge a web design company is based on its previous work and experiences. That's why our clients keep coming back and continue to use and recommend our services. We always keep clients informed of the design process, from the initial design ideas through to completion. This constant contact allows the client to feel they're in safe hands whilst getting a professional experience throughout the project to its launch.

WWDC: How do you manage demanding clients?
Artistsweb: We know each client is different, that's why we have been successful in providing each client, no matter how demanding with the best service, by adapting to their needs and online goals.

WWDC: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
Artistsweb: We say: See our portfolio, check our prices...everything we do is very transparent...all of our web design packages come with a free CMS system, domain, email, hosting set up, so its a 1 stop shop service, for incredibly low prices. The most important factor is "quality" - we always provide our clients with the best in web development or any service for that matter.

WWDC: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
Artistsweb: We have gone past the 10 year mark for our company and are very pleased with its success and achievements. We have just set up base in the EU and also have a branch in Los Angeles for the past 2 years. The future goals are to increase our brand awareness internationally and achieve global recognition by being one of the leaders in web services.

WWDC: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
Artistsweb: I think the internet is proving to display it can handle the most demanding applications we ever imagined...but we believe this does not stop here...many of the platforms we work with will become "automated" and web design may be a thing of the past. But I think...this is still a long way to go before this comes into play. Even so, I truly feel the "human touch" of a designer is still paramount to any software that can do the same.

WWDC: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
Artistsweb: Both PC and Mac

WWDC: How was your company name chosen?
Artistsweb: We started by specialising in developing website's for artists in the entertainment industry when we first launched and then grew into a national brand offering services to all professions needing a unique and affordable web presence.

WWDC: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
Artistsweb: We believe a business idea should be "original as possible" - if not, - it doesn't matter as long you make sure you do it "differently to the others" that enables you to stand out from your competition. We have found this to be the most effective way for a business to have longevity.
