For Consideration...

These are just a few of the questions I might ask of a new client and they are equally applicable to a redesign of an existing site as they may raise ideas that the client hadn't considered previously.

Most clients are simply interested in the bottom line, and rightly so. These questions help start a thought process that hopefully leads them towards a making a more informed decision about what they want their website to do for their business.

  • What do you sell, provide…?
  • What do you do that is uniquely different to your competitors…?
  • How do you want prospective clients to find you…?
  • through search engines...?
  • Banner links...?
  • Reciprocal links...?
  • AdWords...?
  • Partner links...?
  • Recommendations...?
  • Contracts...?
  • What is your geographical target audience…?
  • What language(s) do they speak…?
  • What do you want to do with them once they are on your website…?
