A way with words...

We’ve set out a few hints & tips to help you supply the content for your website with or without the help of a professional copywriter.

The written copy for your site is one of its most important assets, this is what delivers your unique sales messages and feeds the search engines. However we know you are often too busy running your own business to find time to manage this. That’s why we recommend the services of a professional copywriter if you are not comfortable with doing this yourself.

Enhance
  • Bring your site content up to date with current requirements for search engines
  • Reflect your business as it is now not as it was last year
  • Weave in the search terms you need to compete for traffic

    Generate
  • For new sites, a professional website copywriter can generate all the content required
  • You supply a copywriter with the key points and they will provide customised content
  • Fully structured mark up to assist in search engine performance

    Add Business Value
  • Professionally produced text adds polish to your business image
  • Deliver key sales messages in easy to read format
  • Gain an edge on competitors by being up to date

A word of warning though, should you decide to generate your own text / content…. Don’t get caught out with Plagiarism!! For those who don't know, copying "items of online material" could land you in trouble.

We cannot stress enough the importance of generating your own text / content for your website. You simply can't cut and paste content from another company's website into your own - it's called Plagiarism.

Likewise, I'm sure one or two of you have come across some of your own content on someone else's website. It's infuriating, I know, but an email requesting removal of the copied content from their site normally works. In an event where the content not then removed, you may need to contact the third party's registrar or web host to address the issue.
