”The name Clicapic "Click-A-Pic(ture)" refers to a previous online venture that didn't quite take off! On the positive side, I learned most of what I know today about web design from the experience and it spurred me on to quit my career in retail and return to University. ”

The choice of CMS used will always depend on the level of complexity required. I find that Wordpress can be modified to suit many uses beyond those for which it was designed. Most small scale projects can be built on Wordpress and operate perfectly to the requirements of the customer. From a lay-person's perspective, Wordpress has the added bonus of being extremely easy to use, thereby removing the need to contact your designer to make changes!
For larger projects, Joomla offers a more comprehensive CMS solution than Wordpress. Excellent for websites that require user accounts & secure payment facilities.
Both CMS systems can be modified or upgraded (with numerous add-ons) to facilitate additional features (video playback, image galleries, shopping carts, etc) that are not possible with a standard installation.

If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?

”Use it yourself. Don't just pay the designer and hope people start emailing you en-masse with orders and enquiries. Use your website to communicate and interact with your customers. ”
