The book was chosen by The Word Guild as the Best Non-Fiction Independently Published Book along with receiving The Award of Merit for Life Stories presented at a Gala premier event in Mississauga, Ontario.
The book is also a finalist in 3 categories with the respected Indie Book Awards.

We have had an excellent relationship with our web designer. They provided excellent and timely communication. Our requests were always taken into consideration and we felt very much a part of the process. If jargon was used that we didn't understand they were always wiling to clarify and interpret in lay terms. The final look and feel of our website was amazing, taking into consideration our personality, brand, color and artistic flavor. When they revealed the first draft of the look of our website, I was astonished at how creative it was and how they had incorporated something from my book, my own artistic flair as well as the feel I wanted, yet didn't tell them how or what to do. I was truly thrilled! Individuals who know me have repeatedly commented how much the website is a reflection of me, my work and my book. They dealt with complications in a very excellent, professional and expeditious manner.
