What We Do?

Tags: Services Provided:

Technologies Used:
CSS, (X)HTML, JavaScript, PHP, XML, mySQL,

CMS Used:
Open Source, Own Brand
We have an in-house CMS for customers that require more customizations and particularity. Our custom CMS is installed on many platform and website. The good side is that is NO OPEN source and for that reason is more secure. When people know the code, they can find easily the holes. With a custom CMS is not possible. Also it's very easy to modify and adapt to client needs and requests. There will be NO "we can't do it", "this will take more time", "you need to pay more". Everything is easy to change and adapt.

Having a good website is a must for every musician today. When I first started doing business with Ekentros I was looking for a creative and approachable team that would realize my wildest ideas. I really let my imagination run loose and was so happy to find that I was always met with enthusiasm and the will to accommodate in the best possible way. I was looking for a clear and direct, yet classy and imaginative way to promote my music and art. Ekentros really made all of that possible and I was truly amazed at the results. The work was delivered with outmost professionalism and punctuality. I must also underline the patience of the team as I had many requests and changes of mind during the process

Ekentros comments:
Thank you so much for your nice review on our company.
We really liked working with you and the work you do.

A+ for Ekentros team.

We had many demands, requests and things impossible to do.
And they did it. I guess it's because they have really good techniques to take our requirements. They created documented of requirements for FREE for us, while we went with others (i m not allowed to put names, I would otherwise), that would cost us A LOT for those documents (almost the price of the website).

Thank you guys for the nice work. We still have work to do so let's stay focus.

I've never reviewed any company, but I have to say that my husband and I, we were very pleased with the services we receive from Tina and her team.

She is very nice, always available for us and for our requests. She explains us everything we need to know and to expect from our website and visitors.

She is very professional and she knows her work. We were surprised once again, and we recommend her and the team.

They work fast and not pricey.

Ekentros team are very nice people that were very committed to our website.
They deliver very nice website and fully functional in less than 3 months.
We are very happy and we LOVE the website.
All the other companies we contact, they gave us ridiculous prices for this e-commerce website.
But not Ekentros.
We are very happy with them. We will continue working with them and we totally recommend their services.

WWDC: What's your name and position in the company?
Ekentros: Tina, CEO

WWDC: Describe your company in 5 words.
Ekentros: Webagency, professional, young, modern, interactive.

WWDC: What's your business philosophy?
Ekentros: Our business philosophy is simple: Getting the things done in an agile way. That means delivering modules/features constantly to the clients and having continuous feedback from them. While maintaining a sane and fun environment among the workers.

WWDC: Describe your office environment.
Ekentros: We don't own an office yet, we are managing our projects from distance. That leaves us a lot of mobility to go to the client's place for gathering the requirements, for doing the demos etc.

WWDC: Describe how your team interact and work together.
Ekentros: Being apart from each other is more easy. The manager is the mediator between the people working on the same projects. Conflicts are easily solved if they are. From the technical perspective we use SVN, in this way people that work together on the same project will have no problem rewriting one another's code.

WWDC: What makes you different from other web design companies?
Ekentros: Being in this field for many years, working as an employee for other web agencies, I understood and learn fast DOs and especially the DONTs. I have been very disappointed many times and I kept looking for a better environment for myself. Until I got to the point when I said "Well I will create the best environment myself, if I couldn't find one so far". So I invite you to our world to see for yourself.

WWDC: How do you get the majority of your business?
Ekentros: For now, all my clients are referred from friends, or from other clients that had worked with us and they were satisfied.

WWDC: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
Ekentros: We have a few steps, that I would rather not disclose in here. After all we have our patent strategies. What I can say is that we use intense the SCRUM metodology and we can work and charge in different ways: time and material, fully estimation for the entire project, modules estimations. Everything is sign and sealed with a contract. No extra charges and no hidden fees.

WWDC: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
Ekentros: A crucial element could be open communication in order to understand better his needs and keeping him informed every time.

WWDC: How do you manage demanding clients?
Ekentros: We deliver.

WWDC: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
Ekentros: If the client wants to have a professional service done in real time, no delays, open communication pipe, full control of their product and the progress, he came in the right place. Don't forget what you see is what you get, we don't have HIDDEN FEES.

WWDC: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
Ekentros: We see us growing and eventually have more projects that can be useful for many people. We want to make the WEB a better place.

WWDC: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
Ekentros: Everything will be automatized.

WWDC: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
Ekentros: Both PC and Mac

WWDC: How was your company name chosen?
Ekentros: Ekentros comes from the Greek word ekkentros, derived from the Greek word kentron, κέντρον (a point ('centre'); a sting (figuratively, poison) or goad (figuratively, divine impulse)).

WWDC: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
Ekentros: Know your business well and get somebody to help you put in valued your thoughts.
