Starting up a new business from scratch was a huge task. We had the necessary know-how as to what we would like to offer our clients, but no knowledge whatsoever as to how we should get the message across. Brenda of Webwoman fame took us in hand, designed our website and advised with many other aspects of IT about which we were unsure. One visit with a couple of subsequent telephone calls was sufficient for Brenda to design a website which needed very little alteration. Her swift grasp of our requirements and her genuine advice resulted in us having our website completed within a few days. Done with the utmost kindness, generosity and respect, Brenda has launched our very successful business, most of which now comes through our website. Our clients often pass favourable comments on the site, which gives all the necessary information in a warm and friendly manner supported by Brenda's professional photographs. We owe our business success to Webwoman and her continuing support and advice at little or no cost has been greatly appreciated. We cannot recommend Webwoman highly enough to prospective clients.
I first met Brenda in 2006 whilst I was looking for a Web Designer to design a new Website for the Albany Historical Society.
Up until that point, we have had a very brief affiliation with the internet and what it could offer. I was not entirely sure that it would even be a useful tool to further the Historical Society's business. I had undertaken a project over some three/four months viewing and assessing other historical societies' websites and although I did not know exactly what I wanted, I did know what I did not want.
After a long process of looking for a Web Designer, I finally stumbled across WebWoman. To my absolute amazement, she was even located (at that time) in Albany. I called Brenda and arranged to meet her.
From the very first moment that I met Brenda, I knew that she was a sincere and honest person. She listened most attentively to my needs.
After a long discussion, she left and informed me she would contact me very soon. Within 48 hours, Brenda had returned with a concept and layout for our new Website. The one instruction that I had given her was that above anything else, I wanted to keep our Museums at the forefront of any Web design for the Society, as they were our source of revenue. Brenda had not only listened to this requirement but went far above and beyond what I had expected.
HISTORIC ALBANY was launched in mid-2006 and has been an immense success for my organisation. It has far exceeded any expectations that I, or the Executive Committee, had for it.
Brenda offered control of the site once completed, to me, however I asked her to continue to maintain it for us. She has done this most diligently, very very generously and most impressively. She always seems to understand exactly what I want and require.
Over the last two years, this site has grown to double its original size. As it continues to evolve, so does the friendship and respect that this organisation has gained for this very talented company.
As I stated earlier, we had explored many options for Website design. None of them were as obliging nor as reasonable in terms of cost. HISTORIC ALBANY has been at the forefront of the Society's advertising for the last two years. The cost of maintaining it and updating it is far less than any other form of advertising that we undertake. It is also the most holistic of any advertising undertaken by us.
I would unreservedly recommend WebWoman to any organisation that wants and requires a Web presence and who is conscious of cost. Brenda will exceed your expectations every time.

I am thrilled with the overall look of my website that Brenda has designed for me.It is attractive, direct, and very professional. Furthermore, it compliments my product perfectly, and I have received very positive feedback about the website from potential customers and people in general who have seen it. Brenda is a pleasure to deal with and always keeps the customer involved in the design process. She replies to email enquiries promptly and is always happy to make further adjustments to the site upon customers request. She even added a Flash player slide show to my "gallery" section, which just gives it that extra impact. I have no hesitation in recommending Brenda the Webwoman. John Wilesmith.
