AFE NSW North Sydney Institute found SM2 to help the project team build, design and develop Phase 1 of the Virtual RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) project within a tight deadline. The key areas of the project were custom design and development of Skills Recognition website interface design (Development of Phase 1 was completed by the TAFE NSW development team), Flash tour, HTML Christmas Email template, HTML templates and CSS files.

The core of the project was the creation of custom built components to plug in to SSA’s existing website that enable document management and feedback management processes for the ongoing review and management of the industry training packages. The rationale is to enable full integration with the overall SSA platform and utilisation of new technology for enhanced performance and security.

The Be Constructive web site and advertising campaign was launched to advertise and promote working in the trade sector is a viable career choice as there has been a highlighted skills shortage of trade workers around Australia. The national marketing campaign which includes TV, radio, print campaigns, call centres and a website was needed to get the message across that you can "build your future on a trade". SM2 was approached to handle the development of a strategic website that would be used as a resource for current or interested trade workers with directs from the TV and radio campaign. It is also used as a knowledge base for the call centre staff to research and answer call centre queries. The Be Constructive campaign utilised many different agencies to tie together a national marketing campaign. To ensure strong brand consistency and the correct message was delivered, SM2 worked closely with other agencies, such as video editors, photographers, call centre script writers and advertising firms.

SM2 goes funky and assists a revolutionary new digital music distributor that gives independent artists and labels a worldwide audience, it's own worldwide audience. Musicadium is a rapidly growing company leading the way in digital distribution of music around the world. To keep up with this swift growth, SM2 was brought on board to design and develop their new corporate website and member-management system.

Olympus Australia approached SM2 in late 2006 with a tender to build a product catalogue component for the Joomla! CMS. However after successfully implementation of the first release of the component, Olympus utilised SM2 again to deliver, the core component, several modules and a mambot to achieve the clients' needs and facilitate ease-of-navigation throughout the site. SM2 also created the web templates for the site based on the supplied designs by Olympus branding and marketing agency.

Needing to raise the profile among young school leavers that a career in the Government sectors can be diverse and rewarding, Government Skills Australia (GSA) approached SM2 after the launch of their other successful project collaboration to create an online careers directory.
