Adam Franklin
Managing Director
Adam Franklin co-founded Bluewire Media in 2005 after graduating university and travelling the world for two years.
Adam's focus is on business development, specifically forming strategic partnerships and managing online marketing. Adam consults on email marketing, has spoken at marketing conferences ad:tech and EMSA, is a regular writer in the digital community and also discussed web strategy on TV show The Shak.
Adam is an active member of the Brisbane Advertising Association & together with Toby was named in the 2009 Hot 30 Under 30 list of young entrepreneurs.
Andrew McFarlane
Digital Strategist
Andrew McFarlane brings a tremendous amount of digital insight & thought leadership to clients' web projects. He is back from a stint in London working on global projects for an international web agency and prior to that headed up a Brisbane digital team and served as national web projects manager for a financial services firm. Andrew's balance of business and digital means he adds real commercial value to projects.
He also enjoys going to the beach as much as he can, swimming, football and catching up with mates for dinner and a drink.
Angela Brown
Team Support
Angela Brown is central to nearly everything at Bluewire Media. Ange's Team Support role covers being the quality manager, resource co-ordinator, sales co-ordinator as well as being responsible for project costing, invoicing, process refinement and customer service.
Previously, Ange managed an office of 30 people, so her experience and friendly nature make her a valued member of the team. You’ll most likely speak with Ange when you call the office.
Charlie Carter
Sales & Marketing
Charlie Carter co-ordinates Bluewire Media’s sales and marketing activity. Charlie also has an avid interest in social media and is part of the ‘Twitterati’ with his daily tweets followed by hundreds of people.
In his earlier years, Charlie has been a volunteer care worker, head chef and pub supervisor in the UK and most recently was an accomplished commercial property sales & leasing agent in Brisbane. He’s now following his heart into digital!
Jane Saddler

Jane Sadler is Bluewire Media’s bookkeeper and looks after the company accounts & pay roll. Jane’s experience working in a Big Four bank is extremely valuable in her role.
Jane has a young family and is also one of the founders of Precious Premmies – a charity that raises money for premmie babies.
Lesley Hays
Web Developer
Lesley Hays has matured to become Bluewire Media’s head website developer. Lesley is a knowledgeable digital consultant and experienced web designer and her keen eye for detail is matched by her ability to lead large web design projects. Lesley also attends regular IxDA events and is a graduate from QUT's Communications Design.
Lesley also enjoys camping in the great outdoors and relaxing in Byron Bay.
Matt Luscombe
Web Developer
Matt Luscombe is a talented Brisbane web designer and has excellent understanding of web usability. As a university student, he was in the team that won the first Bluewire Media Web Design Prize at QUT in 2007.
Matt likes to return to the UK to visit his family and also enjoys music production and cycling.
Nic Peck
Web Developer
Nic Peck is a professional website developer who looks after all the updates and support requests that come through. Nic is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful so you know you'll be in safe hands.
Nic is from Brisbane and joined the team having completed his web design work experience with Bluewire Media. Nick enjoys experimenting with digital media and interaction design and has been actively involved with his local church group for many years.
Nicholas Cornish
Copy & Content Strategist
Nick is an talented web copywriter and innovative content strategist. His passion for words, communication and visual media allows him to deliver compelling & effective web strategies. Nick partners with Bluewire Media through Regent Road, his own media production company.
Nick has a diverse background and has worked in law, is a published writer, has played representative rugby union, has managed musicians and promoted national tours.
Sam Sargent
Web Developer
Sam Sargent is another Brisbane web developer who has graduated from QUT with a double degree in I.T & Communications Design. Sam is involved in managing many web design projects with Bluewire Media.
Sam also loves to go snowboarding and catch up with old friends and family in Maryborough.
Sarah Hyne
Interactive Web Designer
Sarah Hyne is Bluewire Media’s lead digital creative. Website usability, interaction design & visual design are the areas in which Sarah excels. She’s also an active member of AGDA & IxDA.
She has worked in big London agencies and studied in Sweden but is still a local Brisbane girl at heart! As a passion project, Sarah also volunteers some of her time to work at MAP magazine.
Sarah McVeigh
Copywriter
Sarah McVeigh loves to write – whether it’s web copy, email newsletters, blog articles or search optimisation! In her personal time, Sarah runs her own clothing label and is also a junior radio announcer at Triple Z. As a QUT journalism student, Sarah’s claim to fame was securing an interview with influential lawyer Noel Pearson.
Toby Jenkins
Managing Director
Toby Jenkins co-founded Bluewire Media in 2005 after a professional water polo career that culminated in him representing Australia at the Athens Olympics.
Toby keeps on top of Bluewire Media's finances and consults on internet strategy and business processes. Toby is a popular keynote speaker and MC at corporate, sporting and school functions, has been interviewed on Nova 106.9 and Brisbane Extra and has spoken at national conference ad:tech.
Toby is also on the board of Queensland Water Polo Inc. and Queensland Olympic Council & was named in the 2009 Hot 30 Under 30 list of young entrepreneurs.
