15. WWDC Rank
WWDC's main aim is to provide the people interested in web design companies with best possible search results to find the company that best fits their needs.
To ensure the best possible ranking, we have introduced the WWDC Rank. WWDC Rank is calculated using a complicated algorithm considering all possible input that we have available at WWDC and is constantly being improved.
The following areas of company profile affect the WWDC Rank (listed randomly):
- profile quality
- number of clients uploaded
- statistics about how many people view the company's profile
- statistics about external views on company's profile (clicks from other websites)
- number and quality of reviews
- how often the company returns to WWDC and updates their profile
- statistics on reviews being helpful / not helpful to visitors
- articles submitted and their rating
- other
WWDC Rank is presented in % of maximum possible points. It is virtually impossible to achieve 100%. WWDC Rank is recalculated on daily basis. As WWDC evolves and the overall quality of profiles of web design companies registered improves, it is going to be more and more difficult to keep your WWDC Rank growing.
We hope WWDC Rank will create a healthy competition among web design companies once WWDC has become "the place" to search for web designers.
How can I improve our rank?
- put links to your profile on your website and any other places you can; external links are very valuable
- ask all your clients to review you
