Web design
I'm looking to revamp my website, help it stand out, make it easy to use, and have it be cost effective.
Or even give suggestion on how I can make it better. I want it to look professional so people feel comfortable when they purchase.
Could you help me with this?
Thank-you

Hello Donna,
I have had a look at your site and I actually think it looks quite nice the way it is. I like your template design and think that if you enhanced your content it would make the site stand out more and give it that professional edge you are looking for.
Rather than give all your money to a company who will sell you a package to develop a totally new site (it looks like they are queuing already) why don't you explorer less costly options.
If you need any further information please do not hesitate in getting in contact, I am sure I can point you in the right direction
Kind Regards

Hi Donna,
You could consider using a template from www.themeforest.com
There are many innovative and fresh designs on there that will not cost you much time or money to implement.
We use them for time to time when we have a client with a tight budget.

Hi Donna,
Your artwork is very colourful and full of life!!! After taking time to review your site I would like to suggest the following:
If you are looking to make changes yourself I would completely scrap the current format. Something simplistic and stylish, uncomplicated would put your artwork in the frame (so to speak). Your layout doesn't showcase your photos and I think adding an interactive slide show or flash animation of your artwork would catch the eye of any visitor.
If you aren't technically minded we can give you a really competitive quote for designing such a website. We are very passionate about expressing our client's energy onto the page and you can read more reviews on our website and our websites start at £99.
Hope we can help!

Hello Donna,
I'd love to help you out. Once a month we choose a client who receives absolutely free service regardless of size of the project. Our aim is to show people what can be done in short space of time and we listen to our customer - you design the website, we are just a tool in your hand. No small print - all we ask is that you host your website on our ECO server at the cost of £24 for first year with unlimited space, unlimited mySQL - with no limits what so ever. If you are interested in our offer please do get back to us.
Thank you.

A redesign and move over to WordPress as a CMS might be a good idea.
That way you can add your own content and blog post or news updates down the road.
I'll keep it simple. You're welcome to contact me if you like.
Thanks, Bryan

An artist's website is unlike many in that it's your work that needs to be most prominent.
Looking at your home page, there need to be graphic way into your portfolio - whilst words are good for search engines, it is your work that is going gain commissions. Some say you only have 2 seconds to grab visitor's attention. So bigging up your portfolio would be a great way to start.
Another factor is that your art work page needs to link to page instead of .jpgs. It is rather awkward to use the back button to return from an individual piece of artwork page.

Hi Donna
A great way to make people comfortable purchasing is by having a guarantee of some description - in addition, if your are a member of any professional body, make sure that your customers can see that you are.
Using human faces on a site will also help clients connect on an emotional level - and if your text is in a more convesational style then people will relate to it better.
Remember: People need instruction, clear sign posts as they will ask themselves subconsciously "What do you want me to do?" - make it clear what action they need to take on each page.
Don't write "buy" write "click here to by this item"
write "pick up the phone and call us" instead of just "call us"
These simple changes can make a big BIG difference!
Good luck and "pick up the phone and call me" if you need any help!!!
