Video design for Yr 12 Web design project
Hi I am currently designing a web page for my 12 year major project at Lisarow High School. The web site will be based around Animal cruelty Awareness. I am currently receiving support from a number of organisations which include local vets, RSPCA, WSPA and PETA. I would like to include a video clip within the webdesign and was wondering if any service on the Central Coast is able to help with this part of the school project, and possibly give advice and direction to ensure the success of the overall project. Any help would be so much appreciated.

Hi Jessica,
I know we're not an Australian based company, however its great to hear from a student interested in web design here on Which Web Design and someone who has the initiative to come to a popular site for advice on their project.
Clearly it would be difficult for us to help with the video side of things, being so far away, however if you need any help with other aspects of the project, someone to take a glance over the design or just a general chat over design ideas, feel free to get in touch with james.scott@creare.co.uk. I'd love to hear how you get on.
All the best and good luck!

Creare Design.

Hi Jessica,
We're in England and would love to assist. Make it an International Project... Go On :)
We could even setup a temp address for you to use if that helps. It's no cost to us so no cost to you. We use a USA based system for our hosting.
Specifically to your video question... The easiest way of including video if you're not technical would be to put it on YouTube, copy the code that YouTube give you for your video and paste it directly into the page you want the video on.
Once your video is on YouTube, to put it on your web page would take you a minute (honest).
If you can tell us or send us more information on your project, we can provide you with some advise up front before you start.

Hi Jessica,
What a great project! I do a lot of pro bono work for animal related causes. There is an easy way to embed a video clip on a page by uploading the video to YouTube and using the embed code it gives you. This would work unless you wanted the clip to actually be a part of the site template on every page. Either way, let me know if you need any assistance!

YouTube may be a great way to get started with video. They have great editing options these days and you can then easily embed the video into your website all for free.
