Question

Submitting articles
Ive tried to install a component called content submit which allows a guest to submit their articles through my front end page. Unfortunately i was unsuccessful due to an extension that conflicts with it called SH404SEF. Now my question is i need a designer who can put a content submit form in my website without removing my extension. I need this extension because i customize my url links with it. please state a quote if possible. Thank you

We'd gladly help you.

We've looked at that extension and it does seem to have a few problems based on what other people have said online but... others love it. So where does that leave you?

I think the better approach would be to go through an extension selection process with us to be able to get an extension that
1. Meets you requirements for submission
2. Will integrate with your other Joomla extensions
3. Be secure.

We may find that you can keep this extension as there could be another issue which is stopping it working but we won't know until we look.

If you can email us with your specific requirements for the extension and what problems are caused when it conflicts with SH404SEF, we'd gladly provide a quote to help you.

Hi Charles,

There are plenty of solutions to providing front end article submission in Joomla, many of which are free. I would be happy to install a suitable system on your site and I should imagine this would take 1-2 hours work.

Feel free to email me direct at alex@freshpage.co.uk to discuss this more

Best Regards,
Alex

Hi Charles

Hand coding a form within Joomla is relatively easy. I've just completed a project which does just that and displays cars for auction, accepts bids and manages the vehicles available. All hand coded and presented within a Joomla UI.

Please feel free to get in touch if you'd like a quote or further information.
