Hi Paula,

This probably isn't the place to seek legal advice. I'd recommend contacting a solicitor.

Or alternatively look into taking legal action yourself via the court. The link below has details of this:

Hope that helps.

Jason.

Paula - sorry about your trouble. If they don't respond to your emails or phone calls you need to send them a letter (registered delivery) outlining your position and what you want them to do with it. By law you have to give them time to respond - at least 7 days. In the meantime contact your local Trading Standards and Citizens Advice Bureau - they are very good at dealing with such situations. Don't spend your money on solicitors just yet, let the 2hourSites know that you are in touch with Trading Standards though - it may wake them up. Good Luck!

Hi Paula,

I find in most disputes, if one side are refusing to answer to email/phone calls the next stage would be to both email then and write to a physical address threatening legal action. Getting a solicitor to write this for you would be a good idea as it tends to make people pay more attention.

If this fails to get a response from them then I guess you will have to follow through on your threat.

Hi Paula,

Sorry to hear about that.

MoneyClaimOnline(.gov.uk I think) could be a good option for you.

I must stress that I'm in no way qualified to give you legal advice, but I wish you the best of luck.

Best way is probably to send them a recorded delivery letter saying they have a week to refund your money or you will instigate Court Proceedings against them.]
After a week go to the County Court and take out a small claims action against them.
Good luck - and if you still need a website please get in touch. I take no payment until site is satisfactorily completed.

The best thing to do is contact a solicitor and find out what your options are before beginning legal proceedings.

Best of luck with it
